5 Grilled coconut color balayage ideas
Maybe you already like the coconut grilled in your ice cream or in a bowl of smoothie, but know it’s now a new color trend that was recently noticed on Instagram!
What’s this? To achieve this two-tone look, colorists wear a dark brown dye on the hairline and discolour the tips.
According to hairdresser Ami Rexroth, this trend does not want to mix the two colors, but rather creates a fading effect that modernizes the famous shading look: “We want to get very dark roots with a rich hue, which then makes a transition and that mixes in the hottest tips, “she explained.
Even if the customers are already brown, their roots are often stained with an even darker color to highlight the contrast.
Once the tips are discolored, a shader is applied in the coolest shade to produce a nearly white effect.
The brunettes are perfect candidates for this look, because as their hair grows, their natural color will add dimension to the hair (and avoid touching too much).
